HEART CLINIC SERVICES
Our comprehensive cardiac treatment options cover a wide spectrum of conditions and diseases affecting the heart and vascular systems. As healthcare advances, new diagnostic techniques, drugs and interventions are continually being integrated into The Heart Clinic’s cardiovascular care.
NEW PATIENTS
The Heart Clinic welcomes new patients and physician referrals. We work closely with other healthcare professionals involved in your care to coordinate all aspects of cardiology care with your other medical concerns. A new patient referral from friends and family members is the highest compliment we can receive. Your recommendations are greatly appreciated and encouraged.
YOUR FIRST APPOINTMENT
New patients should arrive to the first appointment 15 minutes early to complete patient registration and insurance forms. To help expedite the administrative process, please bring the following with you to your first appointment:
- Current health insurance card
- A photo I.D.
- A list of current medications
- A copy of any previous cardiology medical records
- Any recent EKGs and labs

HMOS AND REFERRALS
If your coverage is through an HMO, your insurance plan will require a referral prior to being seen by one of our physicians. We will be happy to assist you in this process. If your referral is not complete by your appointment time, we can easily reschedule.
BILLING AND INSURANCE
At The Heart Clinic, we accept most major health insurance plans. Please note that if your insurance plan requires a co-payment and/or deductible, this will be collected at the time of check-in. Financial arrangements can be made by contacting our Billing Department at 770-732-2870.
Scheduling
To schedule an appointment at any location, call 770-732-2882. If you must cancel or reschedule your appointment, please give us at least twenty-four hours notice.
Prescription Refills and Nursing Calls
Our Registered Nurses and Medical Technicians are experienced in the field of cardiology and work closely with our physicians to refill your prescriptions and handle your questions and concerns. If you have a medical problem, which needs immediate attention, our operator can connect you with our clinic staff. If you are experiencing an emergency, call 911 immediately.
